This event is for you if:

FRIDAY NIGHT GET TOGETHER! - VANELLI'S RESTURAUNT

Several of us that coordinate the Tupelo Cruise are getting together on Friday night to have a little fun before the big day! If you happen to be in town and want to join us then feel free! We are meeting at Vanelli's Resturaunt around 6PM.

We will be there with the GumTree Mustang Club. So come by and hang out!

EVENT FOOD VENDOR - Bar-B-Q BY JIM!

One of the comments from last years event was we needed food onsite. Well Bar-B-Q by Jim's has risen to the occasion! They are known in Tupelo as one of the best and they will be onsite the day of the event helping spread joy to all the Bar-B-Q lovers that are attending!

We appreciate their efforts and hope you will to by buying a rib, sandwich or something else they offer!

POKER RUN UPDATES

Shorter Run / More fun! - We shortened up the poker run this year to four stops; Elvis' Birthplace, Napa Auto Parts, Four Seasons Equipment, and A&A Automotive. Also one card will be handed at the museum. Click here for a map of the route!

Get a free lunch on the Poker Run! - If you are participating in the poker run you can get a free lunch on the go! Napa Auto parts will provide a free lunch for all poker run participants! They will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, chips and drink.

Charity Selected! - This years charity is the Sanctuary Hospice House, a non-profit organization who helps terminally ill patients and their families. Please help us support this charity by participating in this years poker run!

GUEST SPEAKER UPDATE

We are proud to have Steve Prewitt, current MCA president as our guest speaker this year! Steve will provide an update on the direction of the MCA. In addition, we will allow all clubs present at the event to tell everyone about their club as well! This is a great opportunity to network with other Mustang clubs in the area so we hope you will attend!

Also you do not have to eat at the banquet to attend. There will be a $5 admission fee if you are not eating. There is also a cash bar from 5-7PM and extra seating as well!

Note to Steve: Put a better profile photo on your Facebook page! LOL

MCA JUDGING SEMINAR IS NOW FREE!!!

Due to some additional funding from our sponsors we are now able to make the MCA Judging Seminar free to anyone that wants to attend! This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the juding process and get tips on how to maximize your scores as well!

AUTOCROSS UPDATE!

UPDATE - The Autocross event will not require helmets so everyone can play!

Is the thrill of spirited driving your thing? Then our autocross event is for you! This event is open to all vehicles (not just Mustangs) and is intended to be instructional and to provide a controlled environment for people of all driving abilities to test their driving skills and get instruction from certified drivers.

There will be a driver’s safety meeting and course walk through starting at 10:30AM and the course will open at 11:00AM and will run until last car out. This will be a timed track with only one car on the track at a time and one time around the track per run.

Registration is $10 per driver the day of the event.

THINGS TO BRING

Here are some things you should consider bringing to the event
  • Bring club banners – Part of the fun of the event is showing what clubs you belong to! Bring your club banners or dash cards with your club name on it.
  • Wear your club shirts – Just another way of showing pride in your club!
  • Pop up-tents – Whether rain or shine this is a good idea! Stay out of the sun or rain and at the same time give you something to attach your club banner to!
  • Folding chairs – Another good idea! You can sit on the grass or the pavement but a guarantee it will not be as comfy!
  • Cash – You will need some. If you want to go into the museum, enter the poker run, buy food, purchase stuff from vendors, whatever. Also you will have an opportunity to purchase one of John Clor’s books and have him sign it at the event. Also remember the cash bar and entry fees for the evening if you have not purchased banquet tickets.
  • Dress warm and bring a jacket – The weather is iffy this time of year so dress accordingly and be prepared for rain just in case
  • Umbrella – I wish I could say it will not rain but you never know. Better to be safe than sorry
  • Car detail supplies – Believe me you don’t want to get the dirtiest car award! They call it show and shines for a reason. Come prepared to dote on your car!
  • Camera and video – We are going to set up a group site for everyone to share their pictures and video! Please document this trip as much as possible and share your pics so others can enjoy them as well! Also we are writing articles about the event and would like to use your pics and video in them! Start taking pictures as soon as you start gathering for your cruise and document your trip! Click on some of the video footage in this link from last year to get your creative juices flowing!

REGISTERED CLUB LIST

Our club list continues to grow as news of the Tupelo Cruise spreads! Below is a list of clubs that will have representation at the event! We are pleased to have these clubs at the event and encourage them to bring club banners and pop-up tents to make their presence known!

If your club is planning to attend and you are not on this list or our event website, please send me a note and I will add you right away!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CRUISE!

One of the best parts of an event like this is in fact, the cruise itself. Everyone loves a road trip with friends and it is even more fun when you have thirty Mustangs caravaning down the road together! So gather a few of your friends and head down to Tupelo for a weekend of fun with other Mustang enthusiasts!

Click here for more videos and pictures of the last cruise!

Help us with our event!

Here are a few things you can do to help us with our planning.

  • Volunteer to help - We can always use people to assist in various aspects of the event! Just reply to this note and let us know if you are interested!
  • Tell your friends - It takes two or more to have a caravan!
  • Start an event thread on your local forum - If you do let us know the link and we will post it on our website.
  • Plan an outing for your club - Make sure it is on your clubs schedule for events!
  • Send us your suggestions - We had some great suggestions from last year so keep em coming!

EVENT SPONSORS

Sponsorships have been hard to come by this year and our event is not alone. Please take a moment to thank our sponsors for their financial support for this event. If you are interested in being a sponsor please contact us by sending an email to stuckonyougraphics@comcast.net.
